To 2011 we bid adieu.
I hope the year was kind to you.
The old we now release,
Allowing any regrets to rest in peace.
Again we take out a page of white,
On it our hopes and dreams to write.
Anything is possible in the coming year.
May health, wealth and love in your life appear.
May 2012 be your best year yet,
Fulfilling all desires on which your heart is set.

2012 Prophesy New Year’s Poem
Some say twenty twelve marks the end.
Don’t count on it, my friend.
For sure the year will have surprises,
Hidden blessings in tragic disguises.
Mother Nature will continue to take aim.
Wars and terrorists will do the same.
But the year will also contain great joy,
Wonderful discoveries our spirits buoy.
Acts of bravery and compassion will fill the news.
The arts and new technology will shift our views.
Perhaps our consciousness will open wide,
A new awareness to provide.
But humankind will continue on.
Homo sapiens sapiens are far from done.

The Blessing of New Traditions
Last Sunday after the church service, I participated in the church’s annual caroling and cookie sharing. It was my first time, and I sang at the top of my lungs, not caring whether I was off key. I haven’t had that much fun at Christmastime since before my mother passed away. This year I have been very open to where Spirit wants to lead me in celebrating Christmas.

May you hold old traditions tenderly in your heart
But also allow new traditions a chance to start.
May you find what brings you joy in this changing time
What makes love, peace, and fellowship come to your mind.
May you cultivate the simple, remember what is true
Create a holiday that is just right for your loved ones and you.

Winter Solstice Blessing
The Blessings of Winter Solstice to you!!!
May you know deep in your heart that life moves in cycles.
May you know that beneath the deepest snow and the coldest winds, life is curled in sleep, gaining strength, preparing for its emergence.
May you know that the comings days will be brighter; a new lightness will slowly come into your existence.
May the coming days be filled with hope and anticipation.

Praying Alone
Mathew18:19-20
I will be part of your two.
Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.Whenever I am in a prayer group, I feel a need to spend a few moments focusing on the people praying alone that day. I like to think that in some unexplained way we are with them, letting them know that there are other people in the world who care about them.
I will be part of your two.
I will be the other person praying with you.
Even though there seems to be no one to care,
Know my thoughts are with you there.
To your prayers I add my distant voice,
Whether you are alone by circumstances or by choice.
Today may you be wrapped in Divine comfort and love,
Receiving wholeness and answers from above.
